CleanOK cleaning team ready for a post-renovation clean in a new bright kitchen

How much does post-renovation cleaning cost in Toronto?

Typical price in Toronto, 2026
Price per square foot$0.15–$0.50
Condo up to 1,000 sq ft$250–$500
House around 2,000 sq ft$500–$1,000
Rough + final clean after a major build$700–$1,500+

After a renovation the price depends mostly on the amount of dust and debris, not just square footage. Large debris removal is done by the contractor before our clean.

Hourly work is usually billed at $45–$70 per cleaner, per hour.

Typical Toronto prices for 2026, before 13% HST, based on public price guides. Your exact CleanOK quote depends on the factors below.

What affects the price

  1. 1

    Size of your home

Square footage and, above all, the number of bathrooms and kitchens. Bathrooms and kitchens take the most time, so a 2-bedroom with 2 bathrooms costs more than one with a single bathroom.

  2. 2

    Amount of dust and residue

Drywall sanding dust, paint splatter, adhesive and grout haze take the most time. A full-gut renovation needs more work than a kitchen refresh.

  3. 3

    One clean or two

Big projects often need a rough clean when the trades finish and a final detailed clean right before move-in.

  4. 4

    Windows and fixtures

Removing stickers and paint from new windows, light fixtures and appliances is detailed work that adds time.

  5. 5

    Access, parking and timing

Downtown condos may need an elevator booking and paid parking. Same-day, urgent, evening or weekend bookings can cost more.

Frequently asked questions

When should I book the clean?

After all trades are finished and large debris is removed. For big projects, book a rough clean first and a final clean just before move-in.

Do you remove construction debris?

We remove dust and residue, not building materials. Large debris and leftovers should be taken away by your contractor.

How long does it take?

A condo usually takes one day. A full house can take one to two days with a team.

Do you work for contractors and builders?

Yes. We clean for homeowners, contractors and property managers across the GTA.
